This is the key thing to understand about the current van, and it works in your favour when sourcing parts.

From 2019 the Vauxhall Vivaro, Citroën Dispatch, Peugeot Expert and Toyota ProAce are the same vehicle. Same body, same apertures, same glass. Our Vivaro glass is the same stock we supply for those vans.

It also means the conversion knowledge base is four times larger than the Vivaro badge alone would suggest. If you're planning a layout or looking for build advice, search all four names.

Check your length before ordering

The Vivaro comes in multiple lengths, and the front side aperture differs between the medium and extra-long versions. This is the most common ordering mistake on this platform.

Check the V5C or measure the van. If you're at all unsure, send us your registration and we'll confirm which glass fits — far better than discovering the problem after you've cut.

Planning the conversion

The low roof defines this van. You get sitting height rather than standing, so most builds are designed around a bed platform with storage beneath and a kitchen used seated or from the rear doors. Plenty of people consider that a fair trade for being able to park in a multi-storey.

Because of the sitting-height layout, window position matters more than usual. Fit the floor and bed platform first if you can, then mark your aperture against where you'll actually be sitting. A window set for a standing occupant is largely wasted here.

Typical layout: opening glass nearside front for ventilation, fixed offside, rear side glass for light over the bed, barn door glass for visibility.

Fitting

Bonded glazing with polyurethane adhesive: cut, dress and prime the raw edge, bond, cure. The Vivaro's panels are flat with clear pressed guidelines, making it a forgiving van to glaze.

Delivery

Order before 3pm Monday to Thursday for next working day UK mainland delivery, in packaging built for vehicle glass, with immediate replacement of breakages.
