The Movano is a Renault Master and a Nissan NV400

Same van, three badges. The Vauxhall Movano, Renault Master and Nissan NV400 are built together with identical bodies and fully interchangeable glass — our Master and NV400 stock is your Movano glass.

The Master carries the largest conversion following of the three, so start there when researching layouts and build guides. And when buying a van, compare all three badges: you're shopping for one vehicle at three different prices.

Getting the length right

The Movano runs from SWB up to XLWB, and glass — particularly the rear quarters — is specific to body length. On a van this size, a wrong cut is expensive.

Your length is on the V5C. If you're not certain, send us the registration and we'll confirm exactly which panes fit before anything gets cut.

Glazing a large conversion

Front, centre and rear quarter positions are available down each side, giving real flexibility. Few builds glaze everything — wall space is needed for units, and every pane is heat lost — but you can light the van properly.

Typical layout: opening front glass nearside for kitchen ventilation, fixed opposite, rear quarter glass both sides over the bed. The centre position is usually left solid because that's where the kitchen or wardrobe sits.

If you're building for year-round use, remember glass is where most of your heat escapes. Privacy tint helps with summer solar gain; thermal blinds are worth budgeting for in winter.

Fitting

Bonded glazing with polyurethane adhesive. Cut the aperture, dress and prime the raw edge, apply adhesive, set the glass square, cure fully.

The larger panes — XLWB rear quarters especially — are heavy and unwieldy. These are two-person jobs; placing a big pane square in wet adhesive alone is not worth attempting.

Delivery

Order before 3pm Monday to Thursday for next working day UK mainland delivery, in packaging built for vehicle glass, with immediate replacement of any breakage.
