The Combo, Berlingo, Partner and Rifter
From 2019 these are the same vehicle with different badges and trim, and the glass is interchangeable across all of them. Our Berlingo and Partner stock is your Combo glass.
When researching conversions, search all four names — the Berlingo in particular has a strong micro camper following, and the layouts and dimensions transfer directly to your van.
Don't skip the rear door glass
On a small van, rear door glass earns its place. It floods light into the back, improves rearward visibility substantially, and stops the interior feeling like a box. If you're fitting a limited number of windows on a Combo build, rear glass often does more for the space than a second side window would.
Micro camper planning
In a van this size every decision has consequences. Windows consume wall space you might want for storage, and each pane is a weak point in your insulation. But light and ventilation transform how a small space feels to spend time in — a windowless micro camper is a grim place to wake up.
The usual compromise: opening glass one side for airflow, fixed the other, rear door glass for light. Pair it with a roof vent if you can — in a small van a vent moves air more effectively than any side window.
Privacy tint is essential rather than optional here. The point of a micro camper is that it parks anywhere without attracting attention, and dark glass is what makes that work.
Fitting
Bonded glazing with polyurethane adhesive: cut, dress and prime the edge, bond, cure.
The panes are small and light — a manageable one-person job. Rear door glass is the easier position; the side panel takes more care because the aperture is larger relative to the panel's rigidity.

Delivery
Order before 3pm Monday to Thursday for next working day UK mainland delivery, in packaging built for vehicle glass, with immediate replacement of breakages.

Is the Combo the same as a Citroën Berlingo?
From 2019, yes — the Combo, Berlingo, Peugeot Partner and Rifter are the same van with interchangeable glass.
Will this fit an older Combo?
No. Earlier Combos were based on the Fiat Doblo. Contact us with your registration and we'll advise.
Is the Combo big enough for a camper?
For two people on short trips, yes — particularly the long wheelbase. It's a weekender rather than a full-time van.
Should I fit rear door windows?
On a van this small, yes. They make more difference to the feel of the interior than a second side window.
