SWB or LWB — this one really matters
The short and long wheelbase Connect have different side panel dimensions and take different glass. On a small van, the proportional difference is significant — this isn't a case where you can make a close-enough pane work.
Check your V5C before ordering. If you're converting an LWB (which most builders choose, because the extra length is what makes the van sleepable), make sure you're ordering LWB glass.
Micro camper considerations
In a van this size, glazing strategy is different to a big panel van. You have limited wall area, and every window you fit is wall you can't use for storage. Most Connect builds fit a single window each side at the front, keeping the rear panels solid for units and insulation.
Fixed glass, which is what we supply here, suits this approach well. Pair it with a roof vent for ventilation — on a small van a roof vent moves air far more effectively than a side window, and it doesn't consume precious wall space.
Privacy tint is close to essential on a micro camper. These vans get parked in ordinary streets and supermarket car parks, and the whole appeal is that nobody looks twice. Dark glass keeps your build invisible.
Fitting
Bonded glazing with polyurethane adhesive — cut the aperture, dress and prime the raw edge, bond, cure.
The Connect's panes are small and light, making this one of the easier glass fits you can do. That said, the aperture is correspondingly small, which means there's less margin for a wandering cut. Mark carefully and cut slowly.
Bonding kits, primer and trim are available alongside the glass. Trade Windscreens in Carlisle can fit it if you'd rather not cut into your own van.

Order before 3pm Monday to Thursday for next working day delivery to UK mainland addresses, in packaging built for vehicle glass, with immediate replacement of any breakage.

Which wheelbase do I have?
It's on the V5C. The LWB is visibly longer behind the sliding door. Send us your registration if you want it confirmed.
Do you supply opening glass for the Connect?
We stock fixed glass for this model. Most Connect builds use a roof vent for airflow — contact us if you need opening glass specifically.
Is a Connect big enough for a camper?
In LWB form, for two people on short trips, yes. It's a weekender rather than a full-time van.
Will this fit the pre-2014 Connect?
No. The 2014 model was a full redesign with different apertures.
