Short or long wheelbase?

The Talento comes in SWB and LWB, and the rear side glass differs between them — the long wheelbase has a longer rear panel and takes a correspondingly longer pane. Front side glass is common to both.

If your van has twin sliding doors, note the specific offside rear pane we list for that configuration. Twin side-load doors change the panel arrangement on the driver's side, and standard glass won't fit. It's an easy detail to miss and an expensive one to get wrong.

The Talento, Trafic, Vivaro and Primastar

This is the same van as the Renault Trafic (2014-on), the Vauxhall Vivaro (2014–2019) and the Nissan NV300/Primastar. All four share body panels and glass.

This matters practically: if you're converting a Talento and struggling to find build guides or advice, search for Trafic conversions instead — the vans are structurally identical and everything transfers. Same goes for glass; don't be concerned if a pane is described under the Renault name.

Choosing your glazing

The Talento's proportions suit a camper well — it's low enough for most car parks in SWB form and long enough in LWB for a transverse bed if you're not especially tall.

A typical build glazes the nearside front panel with an opening window (ventilation where the kitchen usually goes), fixed glass on the offside, and rear side glass if you want light over the bed. Barn door glass is worth adding for visibility and the sense of space it creates.

Choose privacy tint for a camper — it's darker, keeps your build out of sight and cuts summer heat. Green suits day vans and crew vans where light matters more than seclusion.

Fitting

All glass is bonded with polyurethane adhesive for a flush factory finish: cut, prime the exposed edge, bond, cure. The Talento's side panels have clear pressed guidelines that make marking out considerably easier than on some vans.

Delivery

Order before 3pm Monday to Thursday for next working day UK mainland delivery. Glass ships in purpose-built protective packaging with immediate replacement of any breakage.
