The Scudo is a Dispatch, an Expert and a ProAce

The 2006–2016 Scudo was built alongside the Citroën Dispatch, Peugeot Expert and Toyota ProAce as a joint venture. They are the same van. Glass, panels and most trim interchange freely.

This is genuinely worth knowing when you're buying. Scudos frequently sell for less than an identical Dispatch or Expert simply because fewer people search for them — and every part, including the glass on this page, is shared. If you've found a cheap Scudo, you haven't bought a compromise.

Fixed or opening glass?

Fixed panes are sealed: better insulation, nothing to rattle, slightly cheaper, and the cleanest appearance. Opening panes hinge outwards on a catch for ventilation.

In a van this size, ventilation matters. The Scudo's low roof means a smaller air volume inside, and overnight condensation builds quickly with two people sleeping. Most builders fit at least one opening window — usually on the nearside where the kitchen goes, so steam has somewhere to escape.

Fitting your Scudo windows

Bonded glazing, as per the factory: mark and cut the aperture, dress and prime the cut edge against corrosion, apply polyurethane adhesive, set the glass square, and let it cure fully before driving.

The Scudo's side panel is flat and the aperture shape is simple, making it one of the friendlier vans for a first-time glass fit. Take your time with the marking out — the cutting is the irreversible part. Bonding kits, primer and trim are available alongside the glass.
